Radical Acceptance

Have a Happy Mind with Patience

Saturday May 18, 2-5pm

Patience is a mind that is able to accept, fully and happily, whatever occurs.

–Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

When things happen that we don’t like, we want to change them. But we can’t change other people, we can’t change the weather, we can’t change the whole world just to suit us.

What we can control is our own mind. When we learn to react to unpleasant situations with patience, we are one step closer to mastering our thoughts, moving from anger, agitation, and disappointment toward patience, peace, and contentment.
