A public talk with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

We are so happy to welcome Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab to Calgary!
Everyone is welcome to join Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab as he explores mindfulness meditations, and Buddhist thought that will help us let go of anxiety, become fearless in the face of adversity, and approach life’s challenges more confidently and effectively.
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, internationally renowned meditation teacher and the New Kadampa Tradition Canadian Spiritual Director, is a modern Buddhist monk dedicated to helping people from all walks of life find lasting happiness by developing inner peace, compassion, and wisdom. He is deeply respected throughout the world for his powerful teachings and experience of integrating Buddha’s teachings with modern daily life.
Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre offers the opportunity to go deeper into Gen-la Khyenrab’s advice in a series of General Program classes by the same title, Letting Go of Anxiety. Our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Dema will teach these classes in both Calgary and Okotoks.
