Drop-in Classes at AKBC in Calgary & in Okotoks 

Classes092014Monday night drop-in classes continue at 7 pm at our Centre on Kensington Rd. Everyone is welcome to drop-in to these weekly classes! No previous experience is necessary.

On Tuesdays, join us for the Centre’s in-depth study of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s latest book, How to Understand the Mind. This class is open to all, so feel free to drop-in!

On Wednesday evenings in November and December, the Centre is offering two mini-series: The Lightness of Being: Purifying Our Negative Karma and Creating Sacred Space: Preparatory Practices for Meditation. Although the classes are offered as a series, feel free to drop in on any class you’d like.

Thursday night classes in Okotoks continue throughout the fall at the Crystal Shores Beach House. Drop-in anytime!

The Centre is offering a number of classes on selected Saturday mornings this fall.  Everyone is welcome to drop-in to these classes! No previous experience is necessary. Please take a look at our calendar for more information about half-day courses on Saturdays.

On Sundays, join us for Meditations for World Peace: teachings, meditations, and chanted Prayers dedicated to the peace and happiness of all living beings. (There is no fee for Meditations for World Peace.) Sundays at 11am.
