Overcoming Anger

Saturday June 1, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at AKBC

ABurning Housenger is destructive and all too common. We can be angry at anyone, including our friends and loved ones. We can even be angry at the weather. Anger destroys our peace and happiness, and it prevents us from enjoying things that usually give us pleasure. Fortunately, we can apply practical methods to reduce anger, transform it and finally prevent it from arising at all.

Being a Buddhist in the Modern World
Starting Wednesday April 3, 7 – 9 p.m.

The Centre is pleased to offer this new course series on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Dema, will present a systematic study of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book, Modern Buddhism, emphasizing the practical application of the teachings in our lives so that we can develop our spiritual practice as modern day Buddhists.

Drop-in fee is $10 per class. $70 for the full series of eight classes.
